Most DJs worth their time don't listen only to the primary genres of electronic music. A DJ's essence is to understand the trends and movements in music, and luckily is allowed to "cut and paste" with the most creative of avenues to display other innovative music.

I love buying a CD or getting a PROMO where I have to really try to understand what the musician is saying or creating.
